Oral Traditions and First Peoples’ Knowledge

Oral Traditions and First Peoples’ Knowledge

The University of Divinity wishes to show respect and honour for the valuable oral tradition and spirituality of First Peoples in Australia and Overseas and their contribution to research and scholarship with the UD and beyond. While referencing oral communications with permission from first peoples, please also pay attention to naming conventions which may differ from other traditions. When referencing First People’s knowledge, we recommend following the Australian Catholic University’s (ACU) guidelines, but urge you to check any guidelines with your supervisor or course coordinator.
